Adults only (18+). This is the heat-ladder list: flirty truths, spicy confessions, dirty-but-not-graphic questions, then dares that climb from mild to after-midnight. Suggestive and fun, not explicit, and nothing that ignores a no. For lighter icebreakers, start with the general Truth or Dare guide. Updated October 2026.
Green is fair game, yellow needs a rewrite or a smaller sip, red is off the table for the whole night. People can change colors later. A red is not a debate, and nobody has to explain why.
One bowl stays flirty. The other holds spicy and after-midnight cards. Each player draws from the bowl they agreed to. It keeps a pregame with coworkers from colliding with a close-friends night without splitting the party.
Two free passes per person, no speech required. Dares never involve anyone outside the room, and they never involve a person in the room who did not say yes. If a prompt needs a rewrite to stay kind, rewrite it.
Pregame or mixed company: Flirty Truths and Mild Dares only. Close friends: add Spicy Truths and Spicy Dares. Couples or a date night: Dirty Truths work if both people want them. Large groups: split into two circles so a confession is not a stadium announcement.
Open Truth or Dare as one of 7 game modes in the Drinkly app. 500+ cards if you want the phone to keep dealing after this list.
Spicy questions turn up the heat on crushes, tension, and late-night choices. Dirty questions go further into scandal and private history, still without graphic detail. This page climbs that ladder on purpose so a host can stop at the tier the room actually wants.
Set red-yellow-green limits first, give everyone pass tokens, and treat a no as final. Any dare that involves another person needs that person's clear yes. If the energy drops, move back a tier or switch to the lighter Truth or Dare list.
Yes. Use Truth, Dare, or Drink. A skip with a token is free. A drink escape is one sip. Save bigger sips for lies and half-dares, and decide those sizes before you start so the list stays a game, not a race.
No. Clothing-off dares are easy to regret and hard to take back, especially in a mixed room. If a prompt feels like it is heading there, use a pass token or the drink escape and draw again.
Absolutely. Swap sips for a point, a silly extra dare the player accepts, or nothing at all. The questions still work as a conversation game.
Drinkly includes Truth or Dare as one of 7 game modes. Download the app for iOS or Android: it has 500+ cards across those modes if you want the phone to deal instead of the host.
